WHAT TO EXPECT
ON THE DAY OF YOUR COLLECTION

If you have not received your driver’s details by SMS at least 24 hours before your trip, call us on

Your driver will arrive in a white, “Ferry Express Shuttle” branded vehicle, dressed in our blue and black company-branded uniform.

If two drivers arrive on the day of your collection, do not be alarmed – this is a new, approved employee undergoing his final practical training.

   RESIDENTIAL AND BUSINESS PICK-UPS

  • Our drivers arrive 15 minutes prior to your collection time. This gives you and your driver sufficient time to load your luggage and complete payment ifyou have opted to pay in cash.
  • If you are being collected from a secured complex or estate, please make provision for time spent at security and ensure that you forward us the necessary entry codes and/or requirements.
  • The driver will stop at your pre-selected terminal drop-off zone, Domestic or International, and assist you with off-loading your luggage.

    AIRPORT PICK-UPS

  • Important: Please confirm with reservations where you prefer to be collected, i.e. from, INSIDE or OUTSIDE the terminal building.
  • Switch on your mobile phone once you are in the baggage claim as this is the ideal time to communicate and confirm with your driver where he is waiting to ensure a seamless pick-up.
  • We are unable monitor flight delays – if your flight has been delayed please contact reservations as soon as possible on 083 567 3996 with your updated arrival time. Scheduling is managed centrally so we discourage calling your driver regarding flight delays.
  • In most cases, we can accommodate delays, provided that you let us know as soon as you able.

WHERE DO I MEET MY DRIVER?

   INSIDE THE TERMINAL BUILDING AT THE ARRIVALS HALL

Meet your driver next to the Information Desk in the Arrivals Hall for either International and Domestic arrivals. He will be holding a white Ferry Express Shuttle branded board with your name in black print. Your driver will accompany to the shuttle.

This option can be slightly more time consuming but is highly recommended for International guests and those who require assistance with heavy luggage.

   OUTSIDE THE TERMINAL BUILDING AT THE PICK-UP ZONE(S)

OR TAMBO INTERNATIONAL ARRIVALS (TERMINAL A)

Wait outside between the concrete pillars marked “Lower 2” and “Lower 3” in yellow text. Be on the lookout for the Ferry Express branded shuttle.

This option can be slightly more time consuming but is highly recommended for International guests and those who require assistance with heavy luggage.

OR TAMBO INTERNATIONAL ARRIVALS (TERMINAL B)

There are two exit doors – walk outside and wait between the concrete pillars marked “Lower 13” and “Lower 14” in yellow text. Be on the lookout for the Ferry Express branded shuttle. This is a popular collection point so if you don’t see our vehicle immediately, the driver may be circling the building and will be back shortly.

  LANSERIA AIRPORT

Walk outside to the pick-up zone. Your driver will be parked there in the Ferry Express Shuttle branded vehicle.

   WONDERBOOM AIRPORT

Your driver will wait at the Information Desk next to the arrival doors with a Ferry Express Shuttle board and accompany you to the vehicle.
